Ranking Rules
1.  Preseason was based on last year post-season competition weight and D11 performance, not NE Regional or States.
2.  Wrestlers will be ranked at lowest weight they wrestle during season.  At time of Districts, the remainder of the season they will be ranked at their tournament weight.
3.  Wrestlers cannot leap frog a wrestlers unless they beat them in head to head cometition.  Exception, higher ranked athletes on first appearance of season from a lower weightclass who move up in weight.
4.  Undefeated wrestlers will rank higher than wrestlers with losses.  Exception, wresters ranked lower than wrestler who takes losses. 
5.  Once a wrestler has a loss, they will be all be based on totality of thier wrestling during the season.
6.  No freshmen will be ranked until they appear in line-up and beat a Top 8 wrestler head-to-head.
7.  In event of wrestlers with similar records and totatlity of wrestling, deference will be given to senior, then juniors, then sophomores and then freshmen.
8.  Should a wrestler lose his ranking, he can regain ranking places either by defeating the wrestler they lost to or the wrestler they lost to losing more than one bout after beating the higher ranked wrestlers.
 
The goal is to be as least subjective as possible and have realistic assessment of the Top 8 D11 Wrestlers at each weightclass in head-to-head wrestling.
