Lock Haven Fall Classic

Please note the Fall Classic has been moved up to early October this year. Now looks to be the first of the major pre-season folkstyle events next year, Expect to see a major upgrade in the quality and quantity of competition

DWA Fall Classic

The pre-season Beast of the East attracts high school wrestlers from throughout the Northeast. Hosted by duPont HS in Greenville, Delaware.

  October 30-31, 2010 
This is the nation's #1 pre-season high school event. It attracts the big guns each year. Expect to see nationally ranked wrestlers at every weight and a ton of state champions, Be prepared to sign up AND PAY on the 1st day this year, as it may be sold out before the end of the 1st day. Now a 2 day event

PAWF Fall Folkstyle States

Although not as big as PAWF GR & FS states, the event does provide a very good pre-season tuneup for wrestlers from bantam through junior. Hosted by Mercersburg Academy.

A top 3 nationally recognized tournament loaded with powerhouse teams, including the likes of St Ed's, Blair Academy, Paris St Graham, etc. Hosted by Walsh Jesuit HS (Ohio)

Still somewhat new individual tournament has now expanded to 36 teams, and is now regarded as the 2nd toughest in PA by most. Hosted by Central Mountain HS. Team list TBA

One of the nation's top 3 tournaments attracts top teams from several states and will have many nationally ranked wrestlers. Usually has over 70 teams

Huge early season individual tournament featuring competition at both the high school and college levels. 12 mats going at the Reno Convention Center

POWERade

PA's #1 tournament and one of the nation's top 5 is hosted by Canon McMillan HS. This individual tourney features 42 teams from 7 states.

While not the size of POWERade or KOM, this 16 team individual tourney features several elite teams including, Easton, Bald Eagle Area, Reynolds, etc

Virginia Duals

Huge dual meet event with competition at both high school and college levels. 24 colleges and 48 high schools on 10 mats in the Hampton Coliseum

Cavalier Duals

Maryland's largest Dual tournament with 18 teams from 3 states (MD,PA,VA) competing. Hosted by Archbishop Spalding High School

This is a 24 team event hosted by Richland High School and spread over two days. Each team wrestler 7-8 matches including full bracket on Saturday.

PIAA Team Dual Championships

Two day team event held at the Giant Center in Hershey, PA determines the top dual meet teams in PA at both AAA & AA levels.

District 6 AA Tournament

The first step in the post season at the AA level starts a week earlier than AAA and qualifies the top five to SW Regionals. Hosted by Altoona HS

  February 26-27, 2010

District 6 AAA Tournament

The beginning of the road to Hershey. Individual post-season tourney hosted by Altoona HS. Top 3 finishers in each weight class advance to NW Regionals 

  March 5-6, 2010

AAA Northwest Regionals

The second week of the post-season returns to Altoona HS and includes wrestlers from Districts 6, 8, 9, & 10. Top 3 in each weight class advance to PIAA states.

  March 11-13, 2010

PIAA AAA States

The final step in the quest for an individual title. The top wrestlers in the state will compete to win a title and/or medal. Top 8 make the podium

Want a heads up on tomorrow's stars today? This youth event is the first step of the post-season. Now held at Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre.

FloNationals

Designed to be an elite post-season individual tournament, this event is by invitation only. The top 32 wrestlers at each weight class nationally all-class will be invited. Hosted by Walsh Jesuit HS (home of Ironman) in Ohio.

The premier national folkstyle event for the best graduating seniors. All-American honors to top 8. Loaded with talent & loaded with college recruiters

Brute Scholastic Duals

Annual team event featuring all-star squads from many states. Held at the Toyota Center in York, PA..Team PA is usually the favorite, having won 9 years in a row going into 2008

Ohio Tournament of Champions

This huge annual event attracts aroung 2200 wrestlers each year. Held at the Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, TOC accepts entries from youth (Bantam) through high school (Elite). Team competition added for 2009

MAWA Eastern Nationals

One of the top post-season folkstyle individual events with weight classes of bantam through elite. Held at the Wicomico Center in Salisbury, MD

NHSCA National Wrestling Duals

The nation's largest dual meet event is now in its 10th year. Held at the Wicomico Center in Salisbury, MD with Elementary, Middle, & High School divisions. 130 teams and over 2000 wrestlers. Results and rosters at Escape Sports

PAWF Freestyle & Greco-Roman State Championships

This event, held at Blue Mountain High School, determines the qualifiers for the Cadet & Junior National Freestyle & Greco-Roman Championships in Fargo, ND. Top three earn a trip

Huge folkstyle team event held at Disney's Wild World of Sports Complex in Florida. Each team wrestles at least eight dual meets. Awards to top teams & individuals.

Cadet National Duals

The Cadet National Duals are Freestyle & Greco-Roman team events. PA teams are always a favorite to win or place high in this age group. Held in Rochester, MN, brackets and results will be available on Track Wrestling

Junior National Duals

Freestyle and Greco-Roman team competitions held in Oklahoma City, OK. Track Wrestling will have brackets & results

  July 2-4, 2009

NHSCA Beach Wrestling Championships

The national open is held at the Convention Center in Virginia Beach and features College, High School, Middle School, and Elementary divisions. Entrants must have qualified at a NHSCA qualifier or event.
